Getting results.
Pick two: good, fast, cheap.

The “pick two” rule has been around as long as advertising and design. In fact, we are sure it has been a truism since the days of the cave painters. Fast and cheap are clear enough goals. But what about “good”? Good design is rooted in some kind of product advantage. And this means we have to understand absolutely everything about your product or service. You may have some ideas about what makes your product better than the next guy’s. But if you give us all the facts, we often can come up with an even stronger competitive advantage that will knock the gorilla in your industry off the top of the mountain.
Now about “fast.” Short time frames are a fact of life in our business. But to achieve truly outstanding results, we need time to think. Time to create. Time to review the work. Time to make revisions. Oh, yes... and time to produce it. If your time frame compresses any of these steps, the possibility of errors increase. We’re used to working on crazy schedules. So we’ve built in quality controls that help us eliminate errors, but there isn’t much we can do about rush production charges. It will cost more, but you can definitely have great work, fast.
Your probably have an idea of a budget. We’ll work within your budget of course, and tweak it for every ounce of design and production impact. Some things just aren’t possible, though. You won’t get a very elaborate package design on a shoestring budget. That’s just reality. However, if you can fit your project into production schedules, we can often realize tremendous cost-savings – for example, by ganging your job with another client’s project on press. And of course, the fewer revisions you require, the cheaper the overall price.
A note on “fast and cheap.” Sure, we can fire something out of the cannon. But chances are, we’ll refer you to a competitor.
